It is safe to say that word travels fast and, thanks to online media, word is traveling  even faster when it comes to legal issues and high-profile cases. Many followers learned of the final Casey Anthony verdict through Twitter or Facebook.  Amanda Knox’s father said the best decision he ever made was hiring a Seattle PR firm to portray his daughter’s story during her prolonged trial.  This month, David Margulies, President at Margulies Communications Group, will speak about legal PR and the importance of taking advantage of trends in the media when it comes to litigation.

Margulies is the author of the book “Save Your Company, Save Your Job – Crisis Management in the Internet Age.” He managed worldwide media relations for several high-profile cases worldwide including when Oprah Winfrey was sued by Texas cattle interests.  He and his team at Margulies Communications Group help advocate for businesses through positive media stories, innovative marketing programs, community involvement and cause marketing.
