Confronting Implicit Bias: A Crucial Conversation

On August 9, join us for a meaningful, informative and constructive panel discussion on confronting implicit bias.

With various organizations making headlines for falling short in detecting implicit biases, it is imperative that we as communicators identify and address our own biases and those of our workplaces before they are exposed to the public. This responsibility goes beyond human resources or internal communication -- every level of an organization must be involved. It is our role as communicators to be on the front line in guiding these discussions, and collaboratively coaching and building programs that educate our organization’s workforce to create a culture without bias. The result will be a culture that allows employees to be their best while safeguarding their organization’s brand reputation.

Our dynamic lineup of panelists will candidly reflect on their experiences, answer questions and provide insight on best practices.

CEO of SomaComm, Inc. and PRSA's National Diversity and Inclusion Chair, James Shackelford, will moderate the conversation.
