3rd Annual PRSA Dallas UnSummit: PR Connected

September 20, 2019
8:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m.

House of Blues
2200 N Lamar Street,
Dallas, TX 75202

The PRSA Dallas UnSummit (a.k.a. not your typical conference) is back for a third year.

Get ready for a half-day packed with 7- to 10-minute talks designed to showcase dynamic thought leaders from around the country. Our lineup of speakers will not only elevate the way you think – they will challenge the way you approach your work. This can’t-miss event attracts 200+ PR and marketing professionals from across North Texas.

It’s all going down at the House of Blues Dallas (a not-so-typical venue) – known for introducing the world to the music of the rural South, including the blues, R&B, gospel, jazz, and rock and roll – on Friday, Sept. 20, 2019, from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. We’ll take full advantage of the spacious multi-level venue with its colorful murals and unique artwork from the House of Blues' private collection as the backdrop for this high-energy, mind-stretching event.

This year’s theme is PR Connected and recognizes the pivotal role practitioners play in shaping brands and our interconnectedness to other creative disciplines. The content will be broken down into three tracks:

● Staying Authentic
● Driving Innovation
● Embracing Change

Emcee

The wonderful and hilarious Jade Smith, an agency marketer and improv regular at the Dallas Comedy House, will host UnSummit: PR Connected.

Tina McCorkindale, Ph.D., APR, President/CEO at Institute for Public Relations

Did you say #FakeNews?
Yes, we couldn’t let the year go by without addressing the elephant in the room. This powerhouse duo will show you what voices people trust these days and how PR pros should be thinking about storytelling in new and innovative ways to combat the rise of fake narratives.
