Brad Ramsey

Senior Vice President, TEGNA and WFAA President& General Manager
Brad Ramsey is a people-first leader and proven Fortune 1000 operating executive, responsible for 1,700 team members across 16 U.S. media markets, and with oversight of annual revenue totaling $850M+. He was named president and general manager of WFAA in January 2018, overseeing day-to-day operation of the Dallas-Fort Worth ABC affiliate, which serves more than seven million people monthly across thirty-two North Texas counties. Ramsey added the title of senior vice president of media operations for TEGNA, Inc. (NYSE: TGNA), WFAA’s parent company, in June 2019 and in that role oversees 11 Texas markets – including Houston, San Antonio, and Austin – where TEGNA serves an unparalleled 87% of households across the state. In his expanded role, he is also responsible for TEGNA’s local media outlets in Seattle, Phoenix, Tucson, and Indianapolis. Recently, Brad spearheaded TEGNA’s sports rights partnerships including broadcast deals with the Dallas Mavericks to bring games to fans over-the-air for free.
 

Leslie McCardel
Executive News Director
Leslie McCardel is Executive News Director at WFAA overseeing editorial news strategy and operations for the award-winning news team. McCardel began her career in California before joining Houston’s KHOU. In 2006, McCardel joined WFAA and advanced into editorial management the following year. Previously, McCardel has served as cross-platform content manager and assistant news director. Under McCardel’s leadership, WFAA has been honored with the National Press Photographers Station of the Year award five times in the last seven years, the National Edward R. Murrow Award for Overall Excellence, and was a nominee for a National News and Documentary EMMY Award for investigative journalism.
 

Lauren Beckerle
Digital Sales Manager
Lauren Beckerle is a Digital Sales Manager at WFAA/TEGNA and leads the sales team in all digital initiatives. She partners with Account Executives to train, sell, and execute industry leading digital campaigns for clients in an ever-evolving digital world. Lauren grows relationships with clients by listening to their needs and building trust through transparency and insights. Prior to joining WFAA, Beckerle served as the Digital Sales Manager at WCNC, TEGNA’s NBC Affiliate in Charlotte, for 7 years. She has over 12 years of experience in the television and digital sales industry with much of that experience coming from management.

Free parking available on-site. Pull through the front drive and past the guard shack. There is a parking garage in the back of the property that is available for guests. Then  proceed to the front lobby to check in with Security. Guests should not park in the WFAA parking lot (which is gated).
