Lisa Singleton, director, Brunswick Group
Lisa has more than 20 years of experience in corporate communications, issues and crisis management, media relations, and labor and employee communications. Most recently, she has advised on several high profile issues, including DOJ and Department of Homeland Security investigations into 7-Eleven franchisees, the DOJ investigation into Infosys, and supported AMR Corp. in defending its merger against a DOJ lawsuit.
Lisa previously held the position of vice president of corporate communications for Energy Future Holdings (previously TXU Corp.) where she led communications both during and after the 2007 merger with private equity, subsequent CEO transition and company restructuring. Prior to that, Lisa served as director of corporate communications at American Airlines, overseeing all employee and labor communications for American Airlines and internal and external communications for AMR subsidiary American Eagle during the time which the company launched an initiative to restructure its labor agreements, transitioned leadership over executive compensation issues, and handled several significant crisis situations. Before that, her previous experience includes serving as the director of corporate communications at Midwest Airlines.
Lisa holds a degree in Communications from Valparaiso University and a certification in Community Relations from Boston College. An active civic volunteer, she is involved with a number of civic and community organizations, and currently serves on the Boards of North Texas Public Broadcasting, Community Partners of Dallas, the Advisory Board of the SMU School of Communications, is a member of the Women’s Auxiliary of Children’s Medical Center, the JGMS Garden Club and the Arthur Page Society.
