PRSA Dallas' Pro-Am Day
PRSA Dallas’ annual Pro-Am Day is an opportunity for PR and Professional Communicators to inspire and connect with the next generation!
Students in PR and Professional Communications – this is your opportunity to connect with PR Professionals in and around Dallas!
This half-day event pairs college students with PR professionals working in agency, corporate, and nonprofit roles for a morning of hands-on shadowing. Participants will then gather for an afternoon networking lunch and panel discussion, where industry leaders will share career journeys, insights, and advice.
The event will allow all attendees the opportunity to expand their network, build talent pipelines, and foster meaningful connections.
When: Thursday, April 23, 2026
Pro & Student Shadow ~ 9:00 AM - 11:00 AM
Networking & Panel Lunch ~ 11:30 AM - 1:30 PM
Where: Students & Pros will be paired and will meet at Pro's location in or around the Dallas area for shadowing.

Why:
Professionals: Host a student to showcase a day in the life of PR and communications, then attend the lunch and panel to further connect. Your participation will enrich the student experience and strengthen the future of the industry.
Students: Shadow professionals, gain real-world insight into potential career paths, and wrap up the day with inspiration and potential job connections. Students must also register and pay online for the event.
How:
Professionals email [email protected] by April 20, 2026, to host a student or students. During registration, you’ll have the option to sponsor a student.
Students email [email protected] by April 20, 2026, to participate. Please indicate your match preference: agency, in-house, or non-profit and we will aim to match your preference.
Deadline to register: Monday, April 20 at 5PM
Note: Cancellations are due by 5 p.m. on Monday, April 20. If you need to cancel, contact Liz Kennedy at [email protected]. No refunds will be made after this date and time.
