Brad Burns

In his role as vice president of Global Media Relations, Brad Burns manages AT&T's domestic and international media efforts, encompassing print, broadcast, trade and blogger relations.

Burns’ more than 20 years of experience in corporate communications include more than a decade in the telecommunications industry.

Before joining AT&T in 2011, Burns spent five years as senior vice president of corporate communications for Revolution LLC, a private equity firm in Washington, D.C., created by AOL co-founder Steve Case.

Prior to that, he spent 12 years at MCI, where he was responsible for the company’s global corporate communications organization. He served as MCI’s lead communications strategist and media spokesperson, in addition to overseeing the company’s media relations, employee communications, executive communications and industry analyst relations.

From 1990 to 1994, Burns worked for Ogilvy Public Relations in Washington, D.C.

He holds a bachelor’s degree in political science from Southern Methodist University.
