The 10th Annual PRSA Dallas Nonprofit Workshop offers area professionals an opportunity to gather critical professional communications insight and helpful tips to navigate these current challenges and secure the future of their mission. Join us to learn more and discover your Next Is Now. 

This year’s event, scheduled for September 25 at the North Texas Food Bank Perot Campus, will feature nonprofit leaders and communications experts on the changing landscape for nonprofit funding in North Texas and effective strategies. Next Is Now - what’s working now for small nonprofit organizations.

PRSA Dallas is proud to donate a portion of the net proceeds of the event to one lucky nonprofit. The winning nonprofit will be randomly selected from paid attendees present on the day of the workshop.

For those who are nonprofit communicators and for those who work closely with nonprofit organizations, join us for an impactful half-day of collaborative conversations and idea sharing. In addition to an expert speaker lineup, the workshop offers a unique opportunity to meet and network with industry colleagues facing the same challenges you are.

Panel #1: The Funding Landscape: What’s Working NOW in North Texas
Regional data shows close to 40% of nonprofits in the region ended the year with a deficit and many have concerns about meeting rising service demands in a rapidly growing region. North Texas Nonprofits and those who are responsible for community relations and professional communications today in the industry are competing for philanthropic dollars with limited resources while costs have risen. This panel discussion will focus on what’s working NOW and immediate next steps you can take to tell your story, secure funding, and successfully manage public and stakeholder perception. 

X-Change Session #1: Turn Your Mission Into a Fundable Story
Following an insightful panel discussion, attendees will work with fellow non-profits and community stakeholders to apply effective strategies while immediately building new and impactful relationships. 

Panel #2: Relationships ARE the Fundraising Strategy
Moderated by Charlotte Kramon, Wealth and Philanthropy Reporter at The Dallas Morning News
This cross-sector panel will include multiple community stakeholders while covering perspectives from corporations, foundations who fund, local government, individual philanthropy, and nonprofit organizations. Holistic and impactful strategies include all potential community stakeholders, despite their unique perspectives and interests in nonprofit organizations. 

X-Change Session #2: Map Your Relationship Ecosystem
Following the cross-sector panel discussion, attendees will have an opportunity to immediately apply a new perspective to their own organization and strengthen their fundraising strategy. This facilitated session focuses on ways to be successful without a development team.
