How the World’s Premier State Fair is Growing its Passionate Fanbase

The State Fair of Texas is the world’s premier state fair, attracting millions of fairgoers each year. Whether fans are coming to visit the midway, taste the latest fried food, view the countless exhibits or simply see Big Tex’s latest get-up, they are all passionate about, and take pride in, their state fair. Respecting the honor and tradition of the State Fair of Texas is a key plank of its public relations strategy. But so is attracting younger generations who expect social media engagements and a high-tech, high touch approach.

Join us on Thursday, August 13 as Karissa Condoianis, director of public relations for the State Fair of Texas, shares a glimpse into the Fair’s storied history, behind-the-scenes details of its new communications strategy, and a look at this year’s State Fair.
