2026 Is Almost A Wrap – How Are You Wrapping It?

It’s October, PRSA Dallas!
Can you believe it?
It feels like just yesterday that I was encouraging you to grow this year with PRSA Dallas and sharing how I push through uncertain times by focusing on what I can control.
So now it’s time to start wrapping up 2026. It’s Q4!
What’s your plan?
What’s your plan on how you’re going to make sure 2026 is a year that you moved one or a few steps closer to your goals?
Here are questions I want you to ask yourself as the busiest time of the year approaches:
- Where is your time best spent (and how much time do you realistically have to give)?
- Who are the people who will cherish the time and talent you give?
- How can you avoid, stop, and/or manage noise? i.e. all the stuff that distracts us from what lifts us up and sparks joy (thank you, Marie Kondo).
In many ways, parts of our lives are like campaigns – we have goals we want to reach and strategies, objectives and tactics to get us to those goals.
Be your own best stakeholder
It’s up to each of us to be our own best client or stakeholder and have a heart-to-heart with ourselves on how we measure if we’re moving in the right direction; and realize we’re growing in those moments when life doesn’t go to plan and we need to pivot.
One of my Q4 goals is to fill these last months of serving as your PRSA Dallas chapter president with as much fun as possible! We’ve just introduced our 2027 Board of Directors Nominees and I have no doubt they will be a FUN group. And I’m putting out into the universe that I sincerely want every single PRSA Dallas member to join at least one of our events by the end of the year.
Now I know that for some of you a PRSA event may qualify as noise, and I get it, but for others of us a PRSA Dallas event is where our time is best spent (I truly believe that), and it is definitely with people who cherish your time and talent. That’s what makes PRSA Dallas awesome.
As you round out the year and look ahead to 2027, my sincere hope is that PRSA Dallas is part of your plan to help you reach your goals.
